Nats off season

Sorry I have not posted in a while but I have been busy. Any way so the Nats didn't sign Prince Fielder this offseason which really kinda stinks. A lineup with fielder in it might look a little like this:
1. Desmond
2.Werth
3.Zimmerman
4.Fielder
5.Morse
6.Ramos
7.Espinosa
8.Bernindina/Cameron
9.Pitcher.
Good huh? Any way The Nats did make a pretty big move this ofseason trading for A's Allstar pitcher Gio Gonzalez. However the Nats did have to pay a pretty high price sending away 4 top 30 prospects ranked by Baseball America. Derek Norris, AJ Cole,Brad Peacock, and Tom Millone.Thats a lot to give up but Gio Gonzalez is a consistent pitcher who gives you around a 3.00 ERA. With this move Our rotation is this:
1.Strasburg. Though he is coming off Tommy John surgery and will be limited to 170 Innings, He will probably sit out a Month in the middle of the season but who knows we might have Bryce Harper by then.
2.Gonzalez. He can post a low ERA and give you a lot of well needed innings. Gonzalez strikes out a lot of batters but also walks a lot of people. He led the league on the bad end of walks last year but he doesnt let those guys score which matters the most.
3.Zimmermann. He put up by far his best season in the majors posting a 3.18 Era. He was held to only 161 innings because he was also coming off Tommy John surgery. He will benefit from having two pretty good starters teaching him.
4.Wang. He had good glimpses of what he could be so we gave him another shot by signing him for two more years. He will also benefit from having good pitchers around him. His best game was last year after he no hit the Cubs for 6 innings last year.
5. Lannan. Two years removed from being the number one starter he has dropped to number five because of inconsistency, Despite being the only Nat to win double digit games last year. Theres been some trade talks about him going to the Angels for Peter Bourgeis which I think works for both teams. We would get a center fielder which we didnt get over the offseason. Also The angels already have 4 great starters with the addition of CJ Wilson and Lannan fits Perfectly in the Angels rotation. GO NATS! I leave you with the 2012 projected starting lineup.
1.Desmond
2.Werth
3.Zimmerman
4.Morse
5.Ramos
6.Espinosa
7 Laroche
8.Cameron
9.Strasburg
See Ya in Florida!
